Stretched doner meat is a type of meat that is commonly used in Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine. It is made by layering seasoned meat, usually lamb or beef, on a vertical rotisserie. As the meat cooks, it is thinly sliced off the rotating spit, resulting in thin, tender slices of meat that are often stacked and served in a sandwich or on a plate. The term "stretched" refers to the texture of the meat, which is often tender and slightly chewy due to the way it is sliced off the rotisserie. **

Doner meat is typically durable for 2-3 days when stored in the refrigerator. It is important to store it properly in an airtight container to maintain its freshness. If you want to extend its shelf life, you can also freeze doner meat for up to 3 months. It is always recommended to follow food safety guidelines and consume it within the recommended time frame. **
